I am not a professional cook, nor do I have any qualifications related to food. The purpose of this blog is to share ideas, and share the recipes that I use, in the hope that it will be useful to somebody.

I break a lot of rules when it comes to baking as just following somebody’s recipe doesn’t usually work for me, it never turns out how it’s supposed to. I have spent many years looking up recipes and tweaking them so that they work for me and they come out how I want them to! I am honest in my posts, and if an ingredient is not necessarily needed, then I will put that it’s optional, as I find so many recipes have a dash of this and a dash of that, which becomes expensive and it turns out you could have managed without it anyway.
