Sweet Chilli Chicken Recipes with Moy Park – AD

Make lunch and dinner times easy with these Moy Park chicken breast fillets and some tasty sweet chilli sauce!

When it comes to cooking or preparing lunches, I do like to have an easy option. As you have seen from the rest of my blog, I do enjoy cooking and baking. However, I’m also a working mum of two toddlers, so some days I just want to make life easy for myself! 

An easy meal option for families usually involves something from the freezer like a pizza or chicken nuggets, but that isn’t ideal if you’re trying to keep everyone healthy! 

What we all need sometimes, is a relatively healthy meal that doesn’t involve lots of kitchen time, or even worse, lots of washing up!

My sweet chilli chicken dishes are super simple and no pans are involved – result!

With Moy Parks cooked chicken breast fillets from Ocado, you can save lots of time as the cooking is already done for you. 

Sweet Chilli Chicken Baguette

Sweet chilli chicken baguettes are a popular choice on many pub menus for a reason. They’re easy to prepare, and are delicious! The great thing for me, is that you can have these as a lunch or a dinner, and they go with a variety of sides. You could have a baguette on its own or with crisps for lunch, or make it with chips and salad, potato wedges or curly fries and have it as your evening meal! 

It’s also a brilliant dish to make if you have friends visiting, as it requires very little prep time, meaning more time to spend with your friends, and your kitchen won’t look like your dishwasher is broken! It can even be prepared before their arrival, and as mentioned, it can be served at whatever time suits.

Sweet Chilli Chicken Wrap

All the same points above can also be said for my sweet chilli chicken wrap. But imagine having a sweet chilli baguette for dinner one night served with homemade chips and mixed salad, maybe a few crisps too if you really want to push the boat out. Then the next day, you’re in a rush, making a quick dash home for lunch and find that there is a leftover chicken breast in the fridge. Slice it up and pop it in a wrap with some salad and a small amount sweet chilli sauce and you have yourself a tasty, and mostly healthy lunch within minutes. 

Moy Park Chicken Breast Fillets

Moy Parks chicken breast fillets are so convenient for all scenarios, be it as a healthy food option, a quick meal option, or even to use in packed lunches for both children and adults! With dextrose and brown sugar marinade, they are super tasty and don’t need any additional flavouring.

On top of everything else, they can be served warm or cold, and can even be heated through and mixed with a jar of cooking sauce and you have a completely different meal! The possibilities really are endless.

Sweet Chilli Chicken Baguette

Ingredients

  • Moy Park Cooked Chicken Breast
  • Baguette
  • Lettuce
  • Thai Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • Red Onion or Peppers (optional)
  • Your Choice of Sides (Crisps, chips, salad)

Method

1. Firstly, follow the directions on the baguette packet to cook/heat the baguette if necessary.

2. Secondly, cut one Moy Park cooked chicken breast up into slices.

3. Add 1-2 teaspoons sweet chilli sauce into a bowl.

4. Once the baguette is ready, remove from the oven and leave to cool to the temperature you want. Once cooled, cut the baguette down the centre as photographed.

5. Slice the lettuce into shreds, and fill the centre of the baguette.

6. Toss the slices of chicken breast (and the peppers and onion if you are using those) through the sweet chilli sauce with a fork before placing them into the baguette with the lettuce.

7. Serve with your choice of sides (e.g. crisps, chips, salad).

Sweet Chilli Chicken Wrap

Ingredients 

  • Moy Park Chicken Breasts
  • Tortilla Wraps
  • Red Onion
  • Lettuce
  • Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • Your Choice of Sides (chips, salad, crisps)

Method 

  1. Firstly, cut a Moy Park chicken breast into slices.
  2. Secondly slice the lettuce into shreds and place the shredded lettuce on the centre of a tortilla wrap.
  3. Slice as much red onion and or peppers as you’d like per wrap, and place them on to
  4.  of the lettuce.
  5. Place around 4-5 slices of chicken (depending on the size of the wrap) on top of the salad, peppers and onion on the wrap.
  6. Drizzle Thai sweet chilli over the top before folding in the bottom and sides of the tortilla to form a wrap.
  7. Serve with your choice of sides (crisps, salad, chips).
